What We Do and How We Do It
Dr. Wexler has structured his practice to provide the maximum amount of pain relieving treatment in the most stress free possible environment. He utilizes specialized equipment, such as state of the art, adjustable tables which allow adjustments body wide. One of the motorized tables even allows a patient to be in a standing position for treatment if frailty or lack of strength inhibits lying down positions. All treatment adjustments are accompanied by a detailed explanation to the patient as to what the Doctor will do and why. And, to answer any question patients may have during treatment episodes.
In addition to the latest in motorized adjustment tables, Dr. Wexler also utilizes, when needed, an ultrasound machine to treat deep tissue and muscular injury and pain. This involves a machine designed to send sound waves into the muscles to facilitate healing. In addition, he may use an electrical stimulation machine which also helps locally in the healings of muscles and/or joints. If needed, both of these procedures are safe and pain free.
All patients are provided treatment plan insights to facilitate in office care. Various exercises and stretches may be discussed in which the patient can facilitate their own healing when away from the clinic.
